Justin Turner scored 12 straight points in additional time, ending with 30 and securing Bowling Inexperienced’s ninety seven-87 win over Central Michigan in a clash of Mid-American Conference unbeatens on Saturday.

Antwon Lillard scored first in OT and, with the 80-78 lead, Bowling Green (11-5, 3-zero) never trailed once more. Kevin McKay cast an eighty four-eighty four tie with a three-pointer and that’s when Turner took over.

He answered McKay with a drive at the different finish, turning it into a 3-level play. Turner broke an 87-87 tie with a three-pointer and scored a dagger of a leap shot after Central Michigan missed twice.

From there Turner finished with 4 straight free throws and the Chippewas did not score in the final two minutes.

Michael Laster scored 18 for Bowling Green, which positioned 5 in double figures. The Falcons have gained their final seven, all by double figures, the longest win streak since 2001-02.

Larry Austin scored 26 points with eleven rebounds — his second double-double of the week — and added six assists, three steals and two blocks to steer the Chippewas (13-three, 2-1), who saw an eight-recreation streak end.
