The first in a series of storms drenches San Diego County



The first in a collection of Pacific storms drenched San Diego County before daybreak Saturday, pushing seasonal rainfall to roughly 2 inches above average in some areas.

The rain was heaviest alongside the coast, because of the method the system dropped into Southern California.

The storm also dusted the top of Mt. Laguna with snow. And it’s producing elevated surf and rip currents along the coast.
