Sonora Mother Arrested after 8-Year-Old Girl Found Walking in the Road

SONORA — A Sonora lady was arrested Friday when deputies discovered her 8-yr-previous daughter wandering in the street alone.

Around 6 p.m., Tuolumne County Sheriff’s deputies have been referred to as to Blue Bell Street West following a report of a lost baby.

Once they arrived in the neighborhood, deputies discovered an unkempt 8-yr-previous woman who was a mile away from residence and had been walking within the street for around a half-hour, in line with the sheriff’s office.

The woman’s mom, 28-yr-previous Amy Locklin, was discovered at someone else’s house on Mountain Lilly Street. There Locklin informed deputies her daughter had been gone for around two hours and she or he could not discover the woman after looking for her. Nevertheless, the mother didn’t call 911.
