Miami-Dade Police used a stun gun to arrest a high school scholar accused of collaborating in a brawl at Homestead Senior Excessive and resisting arrest Tuesday afternoon.
Five different college students have been reportedly issued civil citations, in line with WPLG Native 10.
Police responded to the varsity, 2351 SE twelfth Ave., and witnessed “over 100 students engaged in a big scale battle” outdoors the varsity’s cafeteria, based on an arrest affidavit.
After giving verbal instructions to cease preventing, an officer approached a female scholar involved in the battle and pulled her to the bottom. The incident was filmed and posted online. Police stated the scholar, whose identify was not launched as a result of she is a minor, resisted arrest.

The officer used a stun gun to subdue the scholar before arresting her on fees of resisting arrest with out violence and interfering with an educational establishment by preventing in class. She was taken to the county’s Juvenile Assessment Middle after being evaluated at Jackson South Medical Middle, police stated.
Police issued the following assertion: “A protected and secure surroundings for our youth is a main concern of the Miami-Dade Police Department.
