Miami Gardens FL police find missing girl after family is shot

Miami Gardens police discovered the 15-yr-previous woman whose disappearance led to the capturing of three of her relations on Friday.

Janiya Johnson, 15, was discovered at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the 15900 block of Northwest twenty seventh Avenue. She had been lacking since Wednesday.

Officers consider that Janiya might have been with William Brice, 21, sooner or later before Friday morning’s capturing in the 15700 block of Northwest 23rd Avenue Street.

Three of Janiya’s relations — her mom Kwanyetta Norris, 33, aunt Loretta Foster, 32, and uncle Kelvin Agurs, 21 — have been shot by Brice once they went on the lookout for her in the West Bunche Park neighborhood, police stated.

The three victims, who did not endure life-threatening accidents, confronted Brice and requested him the place Janiya was, in response to the arrest report released by Miami Gardens Officer Carlos Austin. Brice “turned irate when questioned by the victims concerning the woman,” the report stated.

When one of many relations snapped his photograph, this further angered him and, in line with police, he pulled out a gun and shot at all three.
