League City police are launching a new statewide billboard campaign


LEAGUE CITY, Texas (KTRK) — League City police are launching a brand new statewide billboard marketing campaign to seek out the killer who claimed the lives of two young ladies many years ago in what’s referred to as the “Killing Fields”.

Police say the original investigations into these deaths did not determine the stays of Jane Doe and Janet Doe or determine a suspect.

New renderings based mostly on Snapshot DNA Phenotyping of Jane Doe in Might 2016 and Janet Doe in Might 2017 gave detectives insight into the victims’ features in addition to family tree.

In April 2018, detectives labored with the FBI to construct the family timber of the women. They then in contrast the profiles of the victims towards the Family Tree DNA database.
