Houston Weather: Pleasantly warm Thursday, storms return Saturday

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — We’re in for an additional round of pleasantly heat weather Thursday. Chief Meteorologist Travis Herzog says rain possibilities will remain low Thursday and Friday forward of a climate system that would convey us a robust round of storms Saturday night.

Onshore winds proceed to slowly improve humidity ranges, but rain possibilities will stay 20% or less until the weekend. Travi says robust thunderstorms are attainable Saturday evening into Sunday morning as a Pacific climate system blows by means of west Texas and the Panhandle. Severe weather and tornadoes might be potential from North Texas right down to Central Texas, and some of these storms might nonetheless be robust once they reach us late Saturday.
