Head coach Manny Diaz excited about culture change at UM

A six-pack of Hurricanes notes on a Tuesday night time:

UM coach Manny Diaz advised WQAM’s Joe Zagacki and Don Bailey Jr., on Hurricane Hotline this week that greater than 60 players are displaying as much as involuntary workouts and staying after work is accomplished.

“We’ve made this a spot where our guys need to be once more,” he stated. “If they do it out of obligation, you’re not going to get this additional bit out of them….

“We would like a unprecedented lifestyle. We need to be the envy of school football. [For the players], we would like all their associates to be jealous they’re not Miami Hurricanes. I would like every other coach within the nation to wish they might coach on this employees at the College of Miami.”

Diaz stated “hiring David Feeley as our power and conditioning coach has carried out extra to vary our culture than something.”

Diaz already has made one place change on his roster.

Cornerback Gilbert Frierson, who redshirted final season as a freshman, stated he has been moved to the striker place. Frierson doubtless will compete with Derrick Smith Jr. to again up Romeo Finley.
