A fireplace official says a devastating blaze that raced via a crammed slum in southeastern Bangladesh has left no less than 9 individuals lifeless and a number of other others injured.
The official, Jasim Uddin, stated the hearth broke out early Sunday in the Chaktai space of Chittagong city whereas the slum dwellers have been asleep.
Uddin says four of the lifeless have been from a single household, and that no less than 200 shanty houses have been gutted before firefighters brought the blaze beneath management.
He says the cause of the hearth isn’t but recognized and an investigation has been ordered.
