AUSTRALIA (KTRK) —
A pet cat is down three of his 9 lives after surviving another venomous snake chew.
Hank is recovering after a run-in with a tiger snake, which is a highly poisonous species native to Australia.
It’s the third time Hank’s been attacked by a snake, which has pressured his house owners to shell out over $10,000 in veterinary charges to keep their beloved pet alive.
Hank likes to discover outdoors, however unfortunately so do snakes.
Veterinarian Louise Pierce advised the Seven Community that tiger snakes and brown snakes pose the greatest menace to home pets in the area, and encounters can develop into deadly very quickly.
Luckily for Hank, he is alive and nicely, though he does have a little bit of restoration time forward of him.
