HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) —
The case of a man arrested outdoors his household’s house in Sunnyside last summer time is among the many greater than two dozen lively instances tied to the Houston police officer beneath hearth.
In all, the Harris County District Lawyer’s Office is reviewing 1,four hundred of Gerald Goines’ drug instances. Twenty-seven are lively ones, together with two involving Andrew Hebert.

Unique video obtained by ABC13 Eyewitness Information exhibits Hebert’s arrest final July. His sister had questions then and much more questions now.
“One thing was up,” stated Cheryl Hebert.
Cheryl watched as her brother was arrested in entrance of the household residence on Panay. Houston police stated he led them on a chase, which he disputes. He followed their instructions and surrendered. Cheryl then watched as Goines’ narcotics unit searched her brother’s automotive.
“They did not find anything inside his automotive,” she added.
In accordance with courtroom paperwork, the drug unit had been watching Andrew at a home close by for hours the place they discovered medicine. He is charged with two counts of possessing 200-400 grams of cocaine.
Goines’ credibility is being referred to as into query after Chief Art Acevedo stated he lied on the search warrant that led to the lethal drug raid last month.

Andrew Hebert does have a number of prior drug convictions. He declined an interview.
