After fight, man plows car into other man, then circles back to try it again



After an argument at a Spring Valley convenience store turned bodily, one of many combatant jumped into his automotive and plowed into the opposite, then circled around and tried to do it again Tuesday, authorities stated.

The 2 men are acquainted with each other — the 32-yr-previous victim advised authorities that the man behind the wheel had taken half in a robbery involving his brother earlier that day, Sheriff’s Sgt. Garth Schick stated in a brand new release.

The confrontation began with two men arguing in entrance of fuel pumps at a 7-Eleven on Jamacha Boulevard at Grand Avenue shortly before 5:20 p.m.

The pair, standing near an older black Cadillac, began throwing punches. They ultimately stopped preventing and one of many men walked away, Schick stated.

However the different jumped into the Cadillac and aimed it on the man who had walked away. The automotive plowed into him, sending him onto the hood then catapulting him into the road, Schick stated.

The Cadillac drove off down Jamacha. The victim crawled again to the curb, and onto the sidewalk.

The Cadillac driver whipped the automotive round and drove up onto the sidewalk, making an attempt to run over the sufferer a second time earlier than taking off east on Jamacha, Schick stated.

When deputies arrived, the sufferer advised them concerning the robbery from earlier in the day.

The victim was taken to a hospital with critical but not life-threatening accidents, Schick stated.

The suspect obtained away. Detectives are investigating.
